Tour Description
Hiking on a glacier is an unforgettable experience. On this tour we take you on a private exploration on one of the incredible outlet glaciers of Öræfajökull. We choose a glacier depending on the weather and available glacial features each time to make sure you get the best experience possible.

Your day will start at our home in Svínafell where we will go over the specific plan for the day, depending on the glacier we choose. We outfit you with the necessary glacier equipment and drive to the glacier of the day. Depending on the glacier we may have 10-40min approach on foot to the glacier's edge. We take our time exploring the glacier and seeing what it has to offer before making our way back home.
